Their book reflects their diversity and how these things intersect with their spirituality and magic. They hope to reach people like themselves first and foremost and those who do not navigate this world as they do. ABOUT THE DECK:
The Creative Magic Oracle Deck
I’ve always seen art as sacred practice, something to be lived in deeply. This is often at odds
with what it means to be an artist in modern society, valuing productivity and output above all
else, prioritizing the steady churning out of product at the end.
But creativity itself goes so much deeper than the production of a commodity, and all of us are
called to it in so many different ways, ways we don’t always recognize because they are so
intimately tied to who we are. It is an innate part of what it means to be human. We have always
created with purpose and intention, and this is not limited to the visual arts. Every movement,
every gesture, brushstroke and breath is infused with meaning and power.
We share songs, create recipes, tell stories, tend gardens, care for children, decorate our bodies,
walk, breathe and live creativity. It has existed as long as humans have existed. It is bound up
in an understanding of the power of the unseen, and an awareness of the possibility of making
the self into a channel. Creativity is alchemical, transcendental. It connects us to the divine.
The Creative Magic Oracle Deck is a guide into the practice of sacred creativity: each card is
an invitation to reconnect with your own creative fire. You do not have to be an artist to use
this deck. Each card, with the accompanying illustration and brief meditation, is intended to
illuminate some aspect of everyday life, to bring awareness to the self, and to guide toward that
creative fire and limitless possibility.
